Join Our #SummerSpuds Twitter Party and Win Prizes

The sun is shining and our thoughts are turning to summer family meals. 

Whether you’re cooking up a barbecue this weekend or creating a delicious family lunch, Jersey Royal potatoes are the perfect summer ingredient. 

Whether you use Jersey Royals as a delicious side dish or the main event, they’re one of the most anticipated of all seasonal vegetables. Jersey Royal are still produced and harvested using many traditional practices such as planting the seed potatoes by hand, fertilising the potatoes using seaweed harvested from Jersey beaches and harvesting from the islands steep slopes using winch and cables.

This month, Foodies100 bloggers have been sharing a variety of fabulous recipes using Jersey Royals. This Thursday we’d like you to get involved in the conversation, and share your favourite Jersey Royal new potato recipes and serving suggestions. 

We want to know:

We’ll be joined by top UK family food blogger Jen Walshaw from Mum in the Madhouse, who will be sharing her tips for creating delicious family meals this summer using seasonal Jersey Royal potatoes.

The best five Tweets will each win a £20 supermarket voucher, so you can enjoy your own food adventure at home!
